This rod is similar in action to the Prowla 7' drop shot rods but has the added feature of a screw in butt cap with removable disc weights. This allows for the angler to finely tune the balance of the rod - essential when jigging from a boat, jetty or pier. The ultra-light slim blank possesses all the other features of the drop shot rods including SIC braid safe guides with under-slung braid safe tip ring. D-Tecta reel seat, and ergonomically designed cork handle. It can also be used as a drop shot rod and so the keeper ring allows for attachment of either a hook, or drop shot weight. This rod will fold perfectly together tip to butt with the 2 largest guides being perfectly aligned, thus allowing for quick ‘put together' or ‘take apart' of the made up rod whilst you are on the water.
