The butt handles on many jerk bait rods are too short causing the rod to feel heavy at its casting pivot point, which in turn increases the stress placed on your arm and wrist. We've allowed for a slightly longer butt which not only balances the rod in your hand but gives you the ability to grasp the end of the butt when punching out heavier baits. It's best suited for casting weights up to 80g and has an ideal braid rating of 30-50lb.

It's a tip action rod which allows you to fish baits with very little effort - just a twitch of the tip will make a jerk or crank bait dance in 8-12inch movements. This rod will easily set the hooks and has the backbone to steer predators away from snags. It can be used either on the bank or from a boat, in still or running water, and is a super all-rounder. A delight to fish with!
