As a winter roving rod the multiple combinations possible with this rod make it a superb tool for chub and barbel. With the 1.75lb hollow tip fitted this rod will handle big chub and barbel in small to medium sized rivers, and is also great for feeder fishing in stillwaters for tench and bream.

Alternatively, swap to the quiver top and select the correct strength tip for the flow and conditions and you have a supersensitive rod for those difficult days when positive bites are hard to come by. We also use it for method feeder fishing for carp on our local pools where the quiver top makes telling the difference between liners and real bites much easier.
