Disclaimer
All prices are correct at time of publishing. Brentwood Angling has the right
to change prices and specifications without prior notice. Any colours
shown are as accurate as the website allows. The availability of an item
on the website does not guarantee that it is in stock. Related product
information is as supplied by the manufacturer, unless stated as our
opinion.
Price Changes
We may alter prices at any time. We try our best to keep price changes to
a minimum but sometimes it is inevitable. We aim to update the web site as
soon as possible, but may not be able to make the changes immediately. If
the price of an item you have ordered has increased we will contact you
before charging the additional amount and give you the option to cancel
your order.
Pricing Policy
All products on this web site are priced in pounds sterling and include UK
VAT at the prevailing rate currently 17.5%.
Payment Methods
You can pay by Visa, Master Card, Switch or Delta online. For other
methods of ordering we also accept Solo cards, cheques, cash, postal
orders or our own gift vouchers. Cash is acceptable only if posted via a
registered service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery in the UK. We are
unable to accept Electron and other 'Swipe Only' cards unless you are
making a purchase in the shop.
How to Order
Orders may be placed by phone, fax, mail, email or online. The telephone
number is to the left, we accept all major credit cards. Also we can
arrange interest free credit for those expensive tackle items! Use
the BUY NOW! buttons to add any items to your shopping basket or use the
Shop Here button at the top to go to the shopping cart data base. We
also have to shops, located in Brentwood and Chelmsford, details of how to
get to these shops will be posted soon.
Card Security
We have deliberately chosen a proprietary shopping cart system (MIVA
MERCHANT) that keeps your credit/debit card information in a secure
environment at all times. When you complete your card details on screen
you are entering them directly into storage on a secure server. Your entry
of that information is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption.
We then obtain your order information, by accessing the secure server
directly. We then delete the order information completely. Your card
information is never shared with third parties. We never keep your
details longer than 30 days after goods have been despatched.
For online orders to be processed without delay
the card holder's name and address must be provided in the 'Billing
Information' and 'Credit/Debit Card Information' fields exactly as they
are written on the statement. The same applies to the card holder's name
and address supplied via any other order method.
Card fraud is illegal
and we will prosecute.
When will you be charged?
We process order payment manually. Your card will not be debited
automatically during the online transaction. We will debit your card once
your order has been picked. This will usually be within 24 hours of
receipt of your order, unless we are out of stock. If in the
unlikely event of your item being out of stock we will advise you via
email and give an approximate time of delivery, once again cards will not
be charged until goods are ready to despatch.
Out of Stock Items
If any item you have ordered is not available straightaway for any reason,
we will do our best to contact you. If we are unable to get in touch, we
will automatically place the out of stock item on our back order system,
which means that the day it is delivered to us it will be sent to you. We
also give you the option to cancel your order should you not wish to wait.
Delivery Charges
We have a very simple postage and packaging rates and are as follows;
orders up to £100 next day delivery is £7.50 (Mainland UK only), orders
from £100 to £300 postage for Mainland UK is just £5.50 orders over £300
postage to Mainland UK is free. All these are limited to 30kg in
weight for a single delivery. If the wrong amount is selected then
we reserve the right to charge the correct postage without notification.
Delivery Problems
Within the UK you can usually expect delivery of your order between 2 and
7 working days from the day we receive it. If you have not received your
order after 7 days please call us on 01277 219494 . We will make enquiries
to Royal Mail or our carrier to confirm loss of the parcel and will send a
duplicate parcel to you as soon as possible.
Problems with Order Contents
The contents of your order should be checked immediately after delivery.
Please telephone us straightaway if there are any problems, make sure you
either check the contents whilst carrier is present or sign unchecked.
Point out any damaged boxes to the courier and make sure there is a note
of any such damage on the docket before the courier leaves.
Return of Goods Policy
We are happy to exchange unsuitable or unwanted items as long as they are
returned to us in perfect condition, in their original packaging, with the
receipt and within 28 days of delivery. In such circumstances we will not
refund either the original postage or your return postage. We do not
send goods out on approval.
If goods are faulty or have been sent to you in error we will refund
the price paid in full and postage as long as the goods are returned in
their original packaging, with the receipt and within 28 days of delivery.
We will not accept goods sent to us for refund or exchange that have
not been originally purchased from us. Goods bought online, meeting the
above criteria, may be returned in the shop in person if that is more
convenient for you. Any refunds will be made by the same method used to
pay for the item (e.g. if you paid by credit card any refund will be made
to the same card).
Complaints
We always do our best to respond quickly and fairly to any problem
relating to tackle purchased from us or the service provided. In the event
of a problem, call us straightaway and we will do whatever is necessary to
resolve it as fast as possible. In normal circumstances problems will be
responded to within 24 hours, usually the same day we are notified.
Resale
Goods purchased from Brentwood Angling may not be used for resale. And
are as new unless stated otherwise.
Overseas Orders
We will take orders for overseas but the final cost of postage will be
calculated and emailed to the customer for confirmation of additional
cost. We never take payment until postage rate is approved and goods
are ready for despatch. We reserve the right to refuse any orders or
request identity proof for large orders, also we may request a bank
transfer for orders over £150.

Customer Information and Privacy Policy

registered with the Data Protection Agency and comply fully with their
requirements. We will only use the information that we collect about you

check the information that we hold about you by telephoning, writing or
emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it
promptly on your request. The personal information which we hold will be
held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

by you for communication with you (e.g. telephone, fax, mail address
and/or email address). We will not contact you for any reason other than
to process your order accurately or resolve any order related problems or
